On a gray day, I like to imagine life in technicolor! A gray New York City day with ice skates on….the Bryant Park rink,  the Rockefeller Center Rink, the Wollman Rink in Central Park, the whole city bundled up and rosy-cheeked and somehow even more alive in the cold. There is nothing like ice skating in New York City in winter. It makes the whole gray day sparkle. Caroline and Ted grew up skating and watching little ones lace up for the first time still makes my heart happy. This colorful, whimsical watercolor print is for every city skater, every New York winter lover, and everyone who has ever glided around a rink in Manhattan and felt the pure joy of it.
