NYC in technicolor….on a gray day I like to imagine life in technicolor and New York City in full color is one of the most spectacular things in the world. The yellow cabs, the red signs, the green parks, the blue of the Hudson, the whole glorious kaleidoscope of a city that never decides to be just one thing. I worked downtown at Liberty Plaza Brooks Brothers across from the World Trade Center and I was always so aware of the color the city had even in the black and white and pinstripe world of Wall Street. A great tie with a pop of color. The red power ties, the yellow optimism ties, the whole city expressing itself through color every single day.
